  • What will the alert service tell me?
    Our emails summarise every notice of an upcoming UK contract for food supply published in the OJEU*. Each summary includes a link to the official full contract listing on TED – here you’ll find full details of the contract, contracting organisation and tendering process. Have a look at one of our recent emails.

  • Will my alerts list every public sector food supply contract?
    Our alerts include every contract notice published in the OJEU*. EU law requires every contract with a value above a certain threshold (in most cases approximately £140,000) to be published here. Many lower value notices will not be listed: for free alerts of lower value notices (limited to your local area) we recommend Business Link’s supply2.gov.uk service.

  • How often will I receive emails?
    You can choose to receive a daily or weekly email, arriving in your inbox at around 9am every day or every Monday. In either case, we only send emails when new contract notices have been published.
  • How much does it cost to subscribe?
    While other subscription services often cost upwards of £5/week, ours is entirely free.
  • How can I unsubscribe if the alert service isn’t for me?
    You can unsubscribe at any time – every email includes a link to immediately unsubscribe from our mailing list or to change your profile details (email address etc).
  • How will you use my details?
    From time to time our emails will include additional information about services provided by Provenance or other selected organisations. With your consent, we may share your details with carefully selected organisations offering related services. If you would prefer your details to be kept private, we won’t share them with anyone else: just let us know when you sign up.
  • What if I require additional support in tendering for public sector opportunities?
    Provenance provides support to businesses in tendering for public sector food supply contracts. Just contact us to discuss your requirements.
  • Is any additional information available on public sector contracts?
    We will be launching additional information and alert services (eg details of awarded contracts, news on public sector procurement) – we’ll keep all our subscribers informed of new services. If there’s anything you think would be particularly useful, drop us a line.

We aim to list all contract notices for supply of food in the UK published in the OJEU – we look for all contract notices including the following CPV codes: 032*, 0331*, 151*, 152*, 153*, 154*, 155*, 156*, 158*, 1591*, 1593*, 1594*, 1595*, 1596*, 1598*.
